How to cut my mat to shape/size required:
In order to cut the entrance mat to the desired shape or size, simply flip the mat over (face down) and use a straight edge and sharp Stanley style knife to score the backing a 2-3 times before making the cut. Please be careful to ensure that the knife doesn’t slip and WATCH YOUR FINGERS! Scoring the product first should make it easier to cut through.
Repeat the process on any of the required edges until you have the desired shape. Please note that it is the customer/buyers responsibility to ensure that this is done safely, if you are uncertain on how to do this, we suggest contacting a local carpet fitter who should be able to do this. We always suggest measuring and marking the area to cut first, as once the product has been altered from how it has been sent to you, we cannot accept returns for bespoke made items unless there is a manufacturing defect.
